What exactly is going on at Manchester Central Library? Why are 300 - 500,000 books going to be pulped without proper examination by subject specialists involved in the selection process?
Why did Central Library suddenly jump, without warning, from getting rid of only a few books, to over half their stock - decimating this internationally famous and much treasured archive?
